July 23, 2016 - This is an excellent Chianti! Rich, deep, full of flavour with a nice firm tannic bite still very present but in balance with the fruit so it's drinking smoothly. Great with steak and other rich food. Still very fresh, probably has at least five years left, but is gorgeous now.
February 21, 2016 - Wonderful wine, nice nose. Even better the second night. Should open nicely of decanted
November 2, 2014 - This needs a hour to open up.

March 2, 2013 - Tasty chianti, well balanced. Liked it more than the 2007.
January 29, 2013 - Aromatic, dried berry, currant, and roasted nut nose with leather and tar notes. Dark and assertive palate. Full with, firm tannins; well-balanced with a long finish. Great flavor replays.
