March 16, 2024 - An even blend of Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay from premier and grand cru vineyards. Fermented in oak barrels.
Very fun to drink and delicious.
February 10, 2024 - Broad and generous, plenty of toasty character and fleshy fruit - a touch of bottle age here, disgorged in 2022, adds extra complexity and a greater sense of integration. Very enjoyable.
January 29, 2024 - Delicious. This wine is all about freshness and texture. Enticing aromas of strawberries, brioche, custard, wet rock, minerality. No oxidative notes. Great mouthfeel with delicate mousse and fresh acidity balanced by body, structure, texture. Persistent. Not super complex, but better of many vintage champagne.
January 28, 2024 - Very well made champagne. Light color. Very strong nose of strawberries and cherries, the latter possibly induced by wood. Aside from that note, the wood is very well integrated. Nice bright acidity, minerality.
Disappointing label, no info whatsoever on disgorgement or anything else, no longer tolerable given the new trend. From a mag that was ready to go but it can wait much longer.
December 25, 2023 - An even blend of Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay from premier and grand cru vineyards. Fermented in oak barrels, which are on average 15 years of age with between 30% - 35% reserve wines. Aged for 6 years in bottle on its lees. Dosage: 7g/l.
Pours a pale gold. Freshly picked white flowers, marzipan, chalk dust, almond skin, and Asian pear. The second time in under a year and just like before the extended lees aging does little to add any value to this wine. A perfectly correct and enjoyable Champagne nevertheless.
December 24, 2023 - Primarily the marzipan note in aroma. High acidity. Didn't notice any effect of the claimed vinification in oak. Although the wine is of good quality, I don't think the price premium over the regular cuvee is justifiable.
December 4, 2023 - Huge hit with the group. Everyone loved it. Great all around. Lemon curd.
November 23, 2023 - Have had this for a year or so and was excited to open to start our Thanksgiving. Opens with a deep biscuit note on the nose which is backed up with super balanced and deep flavours of rich brioche. Over time it got better and the finish longer. So good!
November 3, 2023 - Wow. Spectacular. Hits all the right notes. Lovely b
