May 21, 2018 - Weekly tasting group RWP #287: A random set of wines (@ DJ): Golden yellow. In the bouquet yellow fruits, honey and herbs and spices. On the palate a bit fat, yellow fruits including bananas, minerals, butter, good acidity. Beautiful wine.

July 11, 2015 - We had the opportunity to taste a third time. Some of us thought it was finished. Others thought the maturity, oak and honey flavours were perfect. Different viewpoints made it even more fun to sip! This is especially true because we LOVED it and had more to sip while others changed ;-) We would not suggest allowing it to go much further than next year.

May 16, 2015 - We sipped during The Ladies of May birthday party (3 gals from 3 different decades sipping 'n snacking together). We had the opportunity to taste a second time. Some of us thought it was finished. Others thought the maturity and oak and honey flavours were perfect. Different viewpoints made it even more fun to sip! We would not suggest allowing it to go much further than next year.

April 7, 2015 - Dark, gold, straw yellow, a touch murky. Honey, vanilla, toasty, very ripe citrus fruit, oak (6+ months in the barrel) and mucho complex. Stunning balance, nice acidity. Long and mature finish. This is a Nicole Kidman wine of immense stature, full-body, soaring heights and regal confidence. It may hang on a few more years, but no longer than 2017.

April 23, 2012 - Golden. Nose reminds of tropical fruit, yellow peach, flint stone, honey and white flowers. Still a bit of oakey vanilla in the mouth, which is balanced, with a long citrus finish.
