May 8, 2020 - Has put on a ton of weight since I last tasted it in 2011, in a good weigh. A little bit of meat and game on a balanced and nimble palate. Gone are the "sour" and off-putting notes that this exhibited early on. While not "heavy" in any way, this has shed its rough edges and become a very pleasant syrah.

May 2, 2020 - Wine in the time of Corona Virus - Quarantining in NYC & NH; 3/7/2020-9/1/2020 (NYC/NH): Opened as the last bottle for our Sat night Zoom on-line/off-line, just a small glass than held over until Tuesday night with minimal decline. After the Jamet VdP Syrah - this was a bit less powerful but still savory and elegant and showing well. Down to our last bottle now - this has served us very well during quarantine.
