  March 5, 2016 - Rich country wine, almost black in the glass after seven years in bottle. Great wine with cassoulet.

  January 12, 2014 - Nice effort. Glass staining with a slow drip of legs. Color is clear and of medium plus garnet with medium intensity in the nose. Clean with blackberry, plum and stewed fruit. Secondary notes of black current leaf and black cherry. Palate was of high acidity and high tannins that were fine and presistent. Mouth puckering. Finish is medium with blackberry and black cheery.

  December 1, 2011 - Way too young for a Tannat based wine but what the hell.... Big and tight, just as one would expect. Classic raspberry, blackberry, and dark chocolate on the nose. An overwhelming sense of mouth puckering sour sturdiness as well as coffee, dark red fruits and blackcurrants on the palate. On the finish again, firm, tight and extraordinarily powerful mouth drying tannins. This needs a lot of time but should shed enough of these massive tannins to come together quite nicely. 88-91+.
