December 3, 2015 - This mellowed out a lot but lost its punch. It's a good Syrah but I preferred it when it was younger and almost overwhelming.

April 20, 2014 - Intoxicating, perfumed nose with mostly blackberries and bilberries and rosewater. With very soft tannins on the palate, this wine is driven by tasty concentrated ripe black fruits, a little jammy, low-medium acid, a bit of spices like coriander; not much in the way of typical black pepper here. This doesn't offer much tertiary notes but convinces with its yummy fruit and round (almost merlot-like) palate at €13. Crowd pleaser, good as an aperitive.
