    March 13, 2021 - Very much alive and very well integrated. Has a richness and plushness to stone fruit and touches of orange peel. Absolutely beautiful.

    March 5, 2021 - Still very pale gold with a distinct greenish hue - so spite its age no real sign of oxidation (closure is Stelvin btw). Nose has distinct white stone fruit with a hint of lime - initially a slight petrol note although this seemed to blow off after opening. Wonderful full unctuous palate with white peach, grapefruit and lime, but the acidity quite muted and a lovely mouthfeel with a long, long stone fruit citrus finish. Very far from over the hill at 11 years young. What can one say more? Bravo!

    October 5, 2015 - Stunningly good. Racy yet mature with a honeyed edge. Great length with citrus, pear and melon noted. Well structured with some complexity.

    November 18, 2012 - Lemon, melon, pear mineral. Great fruit, to the point of sweetness. Good complexity. I get the oak. Nice wine leaves me wanting more.

    April 8, 2012 - Lemon-green with flowers, citrus fruit, pears and smoky minerality on the nose. Rich and broad on palate like an Alsace version with impressive acidity that balances 14% alcohol, medium full body and residual sugars of 8g/lt. Tropical fruits dominate with a touch of oak. Medium + length. Overall fat wine but not lacking in freshness.

    February 8, 2012 - Lemon in colour with a nose that needs time to reveal its complexity. Celery, peach, orange zest, evident oak but well blended in. Rich in palate with some residual sugars and balancing acidity. Combines creaminess with mineralty and rather persistent aftertaste.

    January 24, 2012 - Light gold with green hues. Pronounced pear, pineapple, mellon and sweet herbs. Full-bodied, creamy-textured, off-dry with noticeable alcohol, rich fruit and moderate acidity. Long aftertaste. Perfectly paired with Chinese food.

    January 1, 2012 - Lemon-green with some reductiveness on the nose. Gets better over time revealing ripe apples, pears, citrus zest. Round and rich in palate with evident lees contact, bergamot and creminess. Quite good balance between medium - acidity versus slightly burning alcohol and medium full body. Perfect match with rosted pork.

    December 24, 2011 - Light gold, touch of green. Melon and pear nose. A bit tight on opening, loads of white fruits, something a bit tropical, more papaya than pineapple. Solid body, medium acidity, fair length. Put it back in the fridge for two days and it was much better (would have been 85/86 at best the first day). Then much wider range of fruits, white flowers, some decent minerality and lovely rich, almost oily body. Much longer.

    December 5, 2011 - -- popped and poured --
    -- tasted non-blind –

    NOSE: expressive honeydew and cantaloupe melon; cucumber; speck of lime

    BODY: green-maize color of medium depth; medium bodied

    TASTE: rich; ripe tropical fruit; ample underlying minerality; fresh celery; soda water and lime; decent acidity, but I would like a bit more; seems like it’s been through malo; 14% alc. noticeable only as it warms towards room temp., in that it can be tasted just a little bit; ripe & dry; not complex; good, but not incredibly distinctive or memorable; finish is short and of medium-light intensity;
