May 4, 2019 - Bought on release and cellared. Slight bricking in color, red fruit on the nose. Decanted 2 hours. Definitely a lighter bodied but very elegant Brunello. Medium acid, integrated tannins. Sour cherry, leather on the palate and this is a flat out gorgeous wine right now. 30 second finish and wine comes together nicely.

November 23, 2018 - Very nice Brunello. Before opening I was concerned based on some other notes, but those concerns were washed away by the first taste. Quite good fruit with soft, mature tannins and modest acid, in the style of a good Brunello. No obvious sweetness but enough that it is not too tart nor hard. Color is beautiful garnet, not orange or bricking. Alcohol is 14% - about right for this wine, definitely not hot. This is surprisingly pleasant to drink on its own, as Brunellos can be a bit acidic, hard and perhaps sour, but this one is well balanced. It would go well with a variety of foods, particularly for those who like reds with almost everything.
