July 17, 2021 - Decanted 3 hrs prior to consumption but sampled upon opening. This wine was a little rough at sampling but with 3 hrs, it opened up beautifully. Served with tri tip dinner for sister Susan's birthday. This was a double magnum so not sure how regular size bottle would be at this point. This was the hit of the party. Still about a yr of tannins left in this format. Silky!!!

April 7, 2018 - Very nice food wine. Age won’t help from here. Tannins are soft and silky and the wine is well-balanced.

May 31, 2016 - Great back bone and fruit in this wine. The oak plays along nicely in the background. A great example of A Stag's Leap District Cabernet.
