February 22, 2015 - Very rich, but a fine PR GSM. Could definitely age a bit more.
June 15, 2014 - Wow, what a wonderful wine. Best at about 2 hours post opening. Lovely taste of Chocolate which I think comes from the Tanat blended into this GSM. Rich, berry flavors. A real keeper. Wish I had more.
March 14, 2014 - Alcohol and spice seemed to overpower any fruit left...somewhat better the second night but a bit disappointing.
December 17, 2013 - Big nose but wood trumps the fruit. Body is full, healthy tannins. Fruit too meager for competition. I moved on to vodka tonic. Wife loved wine.
July 10, 2013 - So intensely peppery (black) and smoky...incredibly powerful wine.
July 3, 2012 - Forward, full bodied and flashy, the wine is filled with jam, pepper, oak, earth and sweet, ripe red and black fruits that finish with bold, lush, spicy flavors. From a unique blend of
Blend of 32% Syrah, 31% Grenache, 23% Mourvedre and 14% Tannat, there is a touch of heat in the alcoholic finish.
May 11, 2012 - Interesting blend of Rhone varietals. Not really in my wheelhouse, enjoyed never the less.
March 25, 2012 - 2012 Rhone Rangers Grand Tasting (San Francisco, Fort Mason Festival Pavillion): Fragrant red fruits, and floral aromas. Medium-bodied, fruit-forward, and smooth with raspberry, cherry, mocha and vanilla flavors. Blend of Syrah (32%), Grenache (31%), Mourvedre (23%), and Tannat (14%)
November 29, 2011 - Strong Syrah profile. Nice aromatics and flavors profile with raspberries, cherries, vanilla.
