May 23, 2023 - From magnum decanted 2 hours. This was magnificent! The nose was in such a great place with that great blend of fruit and just enough age. There is a gritty tannin from the cab that’s really evident until the food shows up and then it’s all velvet and that great nose. Wonderful length that didn’t disappear with the veal. I have had other vintages and this was more elegant/ less rustic. Loved it.

December 25, 2022 - Magnumformat.
Grossartige schwarzbeerige Nase, sehr Cabernet-lastig, Johannisbeere, Zedernholz, Lakritze, leichter Stall-/Waldboden.
Am Gaumen kommt der doch recht heisse Jahrgang durch. Wieder schwarzbeerig aber kombiniert mit Vanille-/Karamell-/Honigaromen, Dörrfrüchte (Zwetschke, Feige). Sehr erdig und tiefgründig, teils kommt nördliche Rhone in Erinnerung, dann wieder die südliche…
Ein ständig wechselnder Wein, es wird nicht langweilig, aber dennoch kann ich mich zu keinem höheren Rating durchringen. Was mir fehlt ist etwas Frische, das Ding ist mir dann doch etwas zu dick. -

November 26, 2022 - 1h of decanting. Deep red fruits with eucalyptus and herbal notes. Lively smooth mouthfeel with soft tannins and good acidity. Aromas on the palate follow the nose. Maybe at its best. The fruitiness might disappear in a few years.
