January 30, 2020 - Immediately opened with a bouquet of fruit. It was nearly primary on the nose. Touch of unpleasant funk on the finish.

The fruit faded quickly and evolved to a profile of tar, tobacco, charcoal, leather. The tannins were beautifully integrated and the finish held for eternity.

No alcohol and the experience contined to change. Love the acidity and complexity. After an hour the notes were earthy and the nose was reflective of that leathery tobacco.

Not sure how epic the wine is but the evolution of the wine was exquisite.

October 5, 2019 - Very very impressive, especially on the 2nd day after 20hrs5in the fridge. Almost Pessac-Leognan like quality (great fan of Pape Clement and Haut Brion). Deep dark fruits, both black and blue, with earthy undertones, cedar and a faint hint of tobacco. Great balance of tannins and acidity. 45s finish. Amazing.

March 14, 2019 - deep red cherry, plum, a touch of savory/leather, and still considerable tannins. starting to develop some secondary characteristics and complexity. I would hold for 5 more years.

November 27, 2018 - Was not expecting it to be this good. Took 30 minutes to really take form but was really excellent after that.
