January 1, 2023 - A deep colour, and rich, quite dense blackcurrant fruit; as close to fine claret as Italian wine can be. Will still keep.

March 11, 2021 - A very dark colour; concentrated blackberry fruit, tarry, smoky and with a long finish. Now tasting mature, but still vigorous and with years if life in it yet. Excellent stuff.

December 28, 2020 - A dark colour; rich, full, smoky, with brooding fruit, intense, stylish and long on the finish. A top class Bordeaux-blend Tuscan which is perfect for current drinking but will keep.

December 3, 2020 - A dark colour; a very concentrated wine with blackcurrant and dark cherry fruit and an overlay of volcanic minerality. Well structured but with an intrinsic softness and a long finish. Very attractive now but should keep for many years.
