August 19, 2017 - From magnum. Glad I waited on this. The whole cluster elements have totally integrated and now add a great pine and forrest floor element, that is a little bit green, but not really in a pyrazine sense. Deep red fruits, baking spices, cloves, a slight orange note, tertiary notes of mushroom and a bit of leather. Medium+ on the finish with a good deal of complexity.

February 8, 2013 - Alta Maria- Los Olivos tasting room visit 2/2/13: Notes of fig paste, forest floor, mushroom and spice. Dense and chewy black cherry and raspberry notes of the palate with more earth and spice. Finely layered and polished. Balanced and integrated structure and a full finish. Very nice.
