January 7, 2018 - a stunning wine still drinking well for a 97 double decanted. Could not believe it. Purchased for my cellar in 2000.Finished long and have 2 bottles left, and 97 was not a great year.

December 25, 2017 - Drinking lovely now. Compared to the ‘96 much more approachable. Still hints of pepper but really well integrated.

October 30, 2016 - Rhone-ish but sweeter; velvety, elegant with medium red fruits and a mild lactic finish I find typical of so many Aussies.
