November 7, 2021 - I dpn't really like being an outlier, but... While I may well have held onto these too long according to CellarTracker's Drink By date, I'm still disappointed. It still shows plenty of structure and adequate fruit, but otherwise, it's "muddy", for want of a better descriptor. Reminds me most of the 2009 DuBrul, which had the same unpleasant characteristic. The fruit is chocolate-covered cherries and some raspberries, and it's fairly rich, with a solid finish, but...

November 26, 2020 - Thanksgiving 2020. Medium body. Nice aromas of cherries, chocolate, green herbs and some oak. Flavors of chocolate covered cherries, herbs, earth and a savory note of au jus, with some minerality and modestly drying tannins to pair well with food.

Enjoyable now but I don’t see why this wouldn’t last for several more years at least.

December 2, 2017 - Tannins well integrated. Red fruit and cocoa, with a bit more oak than necessary, but not off-putting. Found it really enjoyable and in a good window.

July 25, 2017 - Sublime. Soft tannins, ling finish, a hint of oak and balanced fruit
