September 17, 2021 - Pairing with a beautiful orzo dish of Yotam ottolenghi. Medium ruby Color. Green capsicum, provincial herbs, white pepper, light touch of earthiness and mushrooms, dried blackberries, mint, on the nose. Med+ acidity, Med body, Med alcohol, Med flavor intensity, Med tannins, Med finish. Quite a mentol mouth, greenness, not a lot of fruitiness and a bit of smoke. Disappointing finish with quite a watery after taste. Like the nose but it is much better than the mouth, and not what we expect from a pontet canet. Still in a fine drinking window but time to consume it.

May 16, 2021 - Mot bat for a mediocre year. Deep garnet red with crimson red rims. Closed at the beginning started to sing 1 hour after double decant leather blackberry blueberry dark chocolate fresh brewed coffee medium bodied with nice tannin structure persistent finish. Can easily go another 10 years

February 20, 2021 - Lovely ruby color with only a beginning of bricking. Leather and wet forest on the nose. Dark cassis, cedar wood, black pepper. Took 2hrs to open up but then beautiful. Long but not overwhelming finish.

January 1, 2021 - So pnp this one to pair some fondue,
very intense smell, predominantly tar, leather and licorice,
good grip initially, plums, cassis, graphite, forest floor, tobacco, classic mid bodied showing, claret style, very good during the first two hours, but begins to fade after this time line, low acid then, so in the end I really find this bottle a little flabby........., so due to this bottle drink this one up the next few years without any decant, ***-?, overall around 88- 90, 90 surely at the beginning!
