Community Tasting Notes 4

March 3, 2021 - This surprised me a little. Still big despite less oak, the gaffeliere producers but from another plot, a bit minty and not too fruit forward. Finish long. Powdery tannins. Green stalky notes from a 10% cab sauvignon.

July 13, 2019 - Very simple at this stage. Good wine, just simple...

May 31, 2018 - A day trip to Pomerol & St Emilion (Pomerol, St. Emilion): €32/btl. Deeper, dark fruit, more acidity and tannin than the Alienor tasted before it. Earthier, smooth, faded fruit & some matchstick.

November 20, 2016 - Lots of tannines but rather soft. Nose wasn't very complex.
I had higher hopes for this one.
