May 11, 2023 - Drinking well now, just looking for a bit more acidity and details, maybe just served too warm.
January 25, 2023 - This wine is drinking very nicely now but shows promise for the future. Very classic corton charly profile but at the same time a little reserved and coiled. This makes me think big upside. A first rate CC in the stellar 2010 vintage. 94-96+
October 22, 2017 - Absolutely intriguing. Firm, but prominent aromas of citrus and tree fruit for a Chardonnay. Decanted for 1 hour; benefitted for sure. Great depth and precision. Excellent example. Has matured into a flashy wine compared to the last time I had this.
March 14, 2013 - 2013 La Paulee, New York; 3/12/2013-3/14/2013: Rich and deep, nice density and weight, excellent acidity, nice finish. Very nice.
March 9, 2013 - La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Metropolitan Pavilion - New York NY): Tasting. Slightly tropical fruit aromas with great spice, oak seemingly fully integrated. Lush and powerful on palate with great length, concentration and incredibly charming spice. 93-95 point potential.
March 9, 2013 - Focus on 2010 Burgundy- The 2013 La Paulee Grand Tasting (Metropolitan Pavilion, New York): As opposed to the impressive, well balanced reds, this was atypical for the vintage in being ripe, a bit tropical, lush and woody. Hard to see any underlying grip here. Pass.
