March 17, 2020 - Wonderful representation of the Cabernet grapes from Mt Veeder. Full bodied but packed with plenty of nuance. Paired well with steak dinner.
January 28, 2017 - December '16 - January '17 Events: The biggest surprise of the night for me – in an excellent drinking window with evolved tannins, mountain berry fruit still shining on the palate, and some secondary earthy notes emerging. Aromas of violets, blackberries, blueberries, and crushed stones are apparent. Medium to full-bodied but lean on the finish making it pleasant to sip on over time.
April 5, 2015 - Pretty good new world cabernet. Lots of dark fruit but too much alcohol.
January 23, 2014 - Big wine, dark blackberry and cherry. Great lively acidity. Long full bodied finish.

March 8, 2013 - Excellent Cabernet. Vanilla, dark fruit, and carmel on the nose. On the palate, dark fruit, bing cherry, and some spiciness. Medium tannins with smooth lingering mouth feel. Really opens up after about 2 hours
December 20, 2012 - Deep garnet almost turning to brick in color. Dark big brooding black fruit. Plums & black currants hit my nose first. With some lively minerality & oak on the nose as well. Plums & figs initially. Nice acidity & tannins that are present but not over powering. Nicely balanced but a bit hot on the finish. This may need to blow off some alcohol for a few years. Persistent finish that lasts for 30 seconds. Interesting note on the finish is that initially the fruit is ever present but dissipates quickly however the minerality & earthiness on the back end take over & go the stretch.

February 27, 2012 - Dark fruits and tobacco. Medium bodied. Short finish.
December 4, 2011 - Excellent California Cab! Carmel and fruit on the nose. On the palate, a nice mixure of fruit, and a hint of spice, and butterscotch! Very smooth. Even better than it was 6 months ago! Very nice mouth feel.
