December 3, 2011 - A little aged colour when pouring but looks quite youthful in the glass. Nose still has some berry fruit but also showing some second notes; mulch, graphite Palate is still fruity with a sweetness from the alcohol. Overall another lovely bottle.

September 3, 2011 - Was enjoying this before I tried to analyse it! Nose is quite fumey, some eucalyptus and alcohol. Palate is softer although a rod of acidity runs through it. Fruit's still showing - blueberry is to the fore. Overall a lovely aged cab but needs calming so a decant is highly recommended.

November 5, 2009 - Still got a healthy ruby colour. Some menthol, eucalyptus, and dried mint. Then some slate and blueberry/blackberries on the nose. Lean and sinuey (sp?), good balance with the last of tannins fighting to be felt, a little dry to the end but a pleasant surprise considering the state of the other old Clarendon I bought.

    I'm quite enjoying this.

April 7, 2007 - Predominant mineral graphite overpowers the dark berry fruit but is moderated by a subtle currant, earthy licorice, truffle and a wisp of caramel on the finish.
