February 11, 2023 - My favorite C9dP! Plum, fig, earthy, blackberry, soft vanilla, dark fruit, licorice, medium to full body, long dark fruit driven finish.
August 28, 2022 - Four hour decant, which did make a difference, this has a lot of structure on the tannin side still going on, with a slightly muted nose that blossoms on the palate side with deep cherry notes, spices and underbrush. Medium bodied with a wonderful mouthfeel, what a treat to enjoy a bottle aged in my own cellar for years that bears out why being patient is worth the wait.
August 6, 2022 - Just keeps getting better and better. This was by far the most enjoyable from a case that is down to one. seems like it will still improve in time. Post note: Oxidized but still enjoyable on day two.
December 3, 2021 - lovely stuff, evolving nicely. good spot now will continue to improve.
February 21, 2021 - Textbook CDP, soft and pretty yet balanced with mineral, acid, and tannins. Jumps out of the glass with plumb, fig, blackberry, rose petal, and tar. Sails smoothly for the distance, standing up well to food. Drinking beautifully now, or could lay for a couple more years.
October 28, 2020 - Lots of raspberries, soft tannins, nice nose, and medium-long finish
August 17, 2020 - Good now. A little bit sharp. I expect it will improve over the next few years.
