Some red and dark fruit. Excellent texture with a hint of acidity.
Great early wine which became more sophisticated in the glass in the air.
April 26, 2022 - clear dark violet. very perfumed nose with floral, herbal and peppery notes. good acidity here, keeping things bright and lively. there's a slight mineral astringency but a welcome sweet note on the palate as well and a nice red berry fruit flavour that holds right through to the finish. i last had one of these two years ago and took similar notes. i feel like this will hold here for a few years. 92+
October 5, 2021 - Deep violet color. Cherry cola with a smokiness, yet astringent/austere notes on the palate. Lacks some softness, depth and grace.

Finish maybe slightly shorter and alcohol slightly more in notice.... don’t think there is any upside left ...very good wine !!!

May 17, 2019 - Dark purple. Black fruit. Dominated by a sweet black licorice note; some lavender. I found it a bit disjointed. 70% grenache and 30% mouvedre.
December 25, 2017 - Medium purple/ruby color. Amazing nose of red and dark raspberries, kirsch, licorice, pepper and some crushed stones. On the palate, there are notes of licorice again, dark fruits and tobacco, crushed rocks. Medium-full bodied with medium tannin and medium acidity. Very good length. A very beautiful CdP and a stunning value.
November 26, 2017 - Nose is soft red fruit, violets, some spice, touch anise...
Color vibrant red, medium/full viscosity body...
Red raspberry upfront attack, cherry, chocolate, licorice with an incredible long lasting finish!....acidity and minerality and tannins are in perfect balance...what a great wine....
Drinking great now but possibly even better in 2 or more years time...
