April 7, 2020 - PNP and that was a mistake as this needs a good 3+ hour decant IMO. Still very tight, with dark black fruits looking to unravel themselves. Will save for day 2.
Day 2 and not a lot of change. This is still tightly bound up and needs more time in cellar to mature IMO. I would hold off for 3+ years before popping another cork.

March 14, 2020 - I last tasted this around 2 years ago when I have it a 93. Since then it's jumped a notch. It's a lovely, deep inviting red in the glass, and is instantly aromatic with dark fruit flavors wafting up as soon as the cork is pulled. We consumed this at dinner, so these notes are from memory. I poured three half-glasses and left the wine in the bottle to breath. It was almost immediately drinkable but improved over the hour it took to polish it off. It's incredibly smooth and opulent, with dark berries, a slight background sweetness, medium acidity and still enough tannins (now quite soft and silky) to balance everything off to perfection. It stood up well the spices of a Sichuan hotpot, which some may call a crime. But wines with strong grapes like Syrah and Grenache in the blend complement spicy foods exceptionally well. This is beautiful wine that is in its prime for drinking but should last another 6+ years. Lovely wine, great QPR, wish I had one more case, but sadly it's all gone.

March 6, 2020 - Both nose and palate: powerful ripe but fresh fruits, mainly red fruits.
Enjoyable now but still young, will open my next bottle in 4-5 years.

February 28, 2020 - Coravin. Glass three one month+ after the first. Gets better after 1 h in the glass but not impressing. Got a nother bottle and will open it in maybe 5 years.
