November 24, 2022 - Served side by side with the Joblot burgundy. Body slightly bigger here in the CdR, with more dark cherry flavor, tannins and rustic textures, but overall a very very pleasing 12 year old CdR perfect for a French bistro lunch.
February 22, 2019 - A little funky for the first 20 minutes, then settled. The fruit has faded a bit but still somewhat there with acid and tannins.
April 8, 2017 - In a sort of holding pattern. It's all there, but nothing stands out.
January 20, 2017 - White pepper nose. Tannic, full and peppery on the palate too. Very good. Unclear and with sediments. Developed.

November 25, 2015 - Will still develop the coming years.
April 20, 2015 - In a nice spot, settled but still plush, no real secondary aromas, but nice all around.
December 1, 2014 - Holding up very nicely – still fresh and youthful. Given the current state of affairs, I’ll prolong my drinking window by a year or two. Probably won’t get better, but I really can’t see why this wine shouldn't keep well beyond 2015. Unbeatable QPR!
November 27, 2014 - Great Thanksgiving wine - complements most foods, rich but not overpowering for CdR.
July 21, 2014 - Better than last time, more pronounced acidity and opened up with more red/black fruit after about 1 h. An OK CdR.
July 14, 2014 - In a nice place but still rather young. Touch of heat on the finish, but a nice ripe black fruit flavor profile and a touch of tobacco. Nice personality and a restrained effort from Janasse.
