September 3, 2019 - Gravel gravel and more gravel. On the nose gravel, in the mouth gravel and dust, and through the finish gravel. There’s some nice dense raspberry and black fruit, too, throughout, but appreciation here will depend on how much one appreciates minerality in wines. For me. 90. This’ll last awhile, no rush to drink.

August 29, 2019 - Meaty and spicy, with a bit of savage flair. Tannins are quite strong but fine, and seem to be softening. Black fruited, quite concentrated. Pepper and spice notes give this lift. Nice length. Still very young but in an enjoyable place.

May 15, 2019 - Still young - but coming around; cool stuff speaks of the vintage the tell tale basil notes are here, trademark of Cayron, but the years have done this wine good. Plenty of red fruit, primary, some tannins as well. Will improve, I think.

March 23, 2019 - Med to Dark weight colour.
    Ripe dark berries,
Richly fruited, an intense core of bright red fruits, with some crushed herbs garrigue adding spice and complexity. Solid and age-worthy.

February 24, 2019 - Just coming into its own. Good complexity, nice fruit, a bit rustic, as Cayrob tends to be. Sipped this at a meeting, the rest of the attendees were most appreciative.
