April 10, 2023 - Started off very primary and extracted with sweetness. On the second night it was better balanced with a lot of spice, cherry and alcohol on the finish. On the third night soft tannins showed and the the cherry components were better integrated. Overall this is a bit and high alcohol cdp and I am not certain it will develop secondary flavors.

December 23, 2021 - All that alcohol in check this time around making for a classic, rich if not complex cnp. Hard to see this getting better but no sign of fatigue

November 15, 2020 - At 15.5 the alcohol is simply overpowering for my palate. Too much heat density and weight to drink more than a glass and too heavy to accompany food. That said, classic cnp fruit and richness are very present and at 10 years this wine shows no sign of flagging. Not my style
