January 22, 2024 - Opened by Allred. 100% Chardonnay from this single estate vineyard in Vetrus. Aged partially in oak. Medium yellow color. Drinking well for a 2005. Fuller bodied and creamy with mineral, almond, cherry and citrus notes. Good depth and a lively finish. 93 points.

January 21, 2024 - Brunch with friends (EBCC): Our penultimate bottle. Medium yellow color. Aromas of pear and marzipan, with subtle caramel undertones. The longer this sits the more the fruit comes forward and the caramel and marzipan fade. Apple and vanilla crème flavors. Lovely- drinking at peak for my palate. 93-94 pts.

June 5, 2020 - My written notes say this was my preferred vintage of the Clos de Bouvieres during a vertical in their cellars and my highest rated wine that day. Still delivers two years later. Fresh, elegant with tones of mandarin and chalk.

January 21, 2019 - Jason's Guys Night - Bring Something You've Never Had Before (Jason's House): Light flavored and chaulky. This seems to be a bigger style but in a restrained framework, which is odd. It is also slightly oxidative, which not a bad thing.

January 17, 2019 - Guys Night Out: Bring Something You've Never Had (Jason P's, St. Paul, MN): Light gold color. Drank a glass over 45 minutes. This is a fine Champagne, but it's not really my style. Oxidative both on the nose and palate, I actually prefer the palate with its creamy texture, vanilla panna cotta, lemon and white pear. The minerality is on the chalk side.
