September 5, 2021 - Chez Zim: Citrus, stony, high dry extract, extremely long and impressive, each sip demands the next one, compared to the last one I had 2 years ago, this one had totally absorbed the elevage (barrel) notes.

December 22, 2020 - Sadly last bottle - dramatically attractive from the start. Nose of jasmin, alpine meadows and minerals. Great depth in body and remarkable length without undue power. No flint here but real purity.

August 28, 2020 - Bit of that burnt butter popcorn reduction right up front. Incredibly long finish. A massive, intense almost chewy wine.

May 24, 2020 - Tasted blind, this wine had a deep yellow center and clear rims. The high- intensity nose offered up quince, vanilla, marzipan, and minerals.

In the mouth, this wine was still young. It was medium bodied with great balance and good acidity. It had moderate length for the first couple hours (93 pts) but developed well in the glass to show more drama and mineral nuance.

Despite its deep color, this wine still seems quite young. I beleive there is a point or two of upside with time.

November 2, 2019 - Quite dark yellow in the glass. Buttery toast and nuts plus herbs in the nose. Smoke, spices, salt and dense yellow fruit on the palate. Very long finish an dcoming back in waves, almost rretronasally. White Burgundy doesn't get much better than this. Btw, still rather young: Keep it for another 5 years.

(Coche-Dury Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières) Light golden yellow color; reticent, lemon, almond, butter nose; silky textured, buttery, totally delicious, rich, lemon custard, tart lemon, almond palate, needs 2-3 years yet; medium-plus finish
