October 25, 2021 - Gold color, nose is bad, palate is shot.

July 30, 2021 - Beautiful color, a little past its prime, but still very enjoyable.

April 3, 2021 - Balanced and appealing aromas with this nice cool butter popcorn tone that lies above yellow ripe fruit and light flower. Medium-bodied wine that has done its thing in life and is retired on a sun bed in Provence and thinks back to the hard life in Burgundy. Ripe and balanced mouthfeel with yellow fruit, butter, light popcorn and with this nice salty expression. Wine to the feeling of harmony without a hint of sharp edges. 91 points.

November 14, 2019 - Bit lactic, cheesy nose. Smell of old cork. Good colour. Resolved but syill fresh. Palate cleaned up with air but nose never lost the cork taint.

November 14, 2019 - 1991 Burgundy (Chez Bruce, London): Mid gold, bright. Initially a touch cheesy, but a bright fresh orange zesty note underneath. Nicely poised. The touch of orange cuts through the palate too. With a little more air, something a little bitter and metallic towards the finish building on the wet wool mid-palate element. Nose continues to evolve with some caramel development. Cleans up after 2hrs without the metallic elements but preserving the orange citrus zing. What you think about this will depend upon the moment you catch and consider it. Considerably better than my previous bottle of this. ***1/2
