December 10, 2016 - Second wine of the night - fine from the start - gently edgy, but settled - full and lush - hints of age, in a good way, with a fair finish.

Vinho desequilibrado com predominio de madeira e não melhorou após decantação.

I last had this at a wine-tasting 18 months ago hosted by the producer - I think I was a little more impressed then than I am today - deep purple - slightly old cherries in the nose - deep and rich - it's lost some of its youthful vitality, yes, but as a fan of "elder statesman", I'm enjoying this - not really enough finish for a wine of this price.
March 22, 2014 - Bricky-red, round and powerful with slightly rough edges - long finish.

Nariz: Limpo, intensidade média, tostado, frutas negras, madeira, baunilha.
Boca: Seco, acidez média, taninos médios, corpo e persistência médios, frutas negras.
Um bom vinho português com um preço acima do que deveria ser, R$ 160 na Decanter.
