January 27, 2023 - Continues to drink very well - no "cotton candy" / vanilla on nose - paired great with a grilled skirt steak. Didn't take notes. 93+/-

I tend to like old world (Left Bank Bordeaux, Brunello, Ribera Del Deuro) wines but for some reason this appeals to me - maybe it's the pairing as prior taster noted - fruit is still huge but there is nice structure - thought this was more medium than low acidity.

January 24, 2023 - Bottle was likely corked...or age got to it. Night & day from the previous bottle...oh well.

October 24, 2021 - Consistent with my Sept 2021 note. A medium weight cab that benefits from being paired with fatty meal. Cedar and spice notes. Midly tart. But it has a nice long juicy finish.

September 4, 2021 - 14.8% abv. 100% spring mountain cab. I let it breathe for a hour in the glass before enjoying. Best at hour 4. A sweet nose. Relatively unconcentrated and low acidity. You're not going to enjoy this wine if you're not a fan of lower acidity wines. I happen to be.

June 28, 2021 - This wine obviously has high quality grapes, but I hate the winemaking. For me, there is too much oaky vanilla, too little acid, and too little tannins. The vanilla is the dealbreaker. It is a drain pour for me. Interestingly, I’ve noticed that people who like this style of wine often are big steak / grilled meat / hamburger people, which I am not.
