December 22, 2012 - A nose of dark fruits and spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied Cab, blackberry, blueberry, cocoa and baking spices on finish, very solid Cab.

March 4, 2012 - Decanted for about 30 min then drank over next hour with pasta dinner. Enjoyed it more than the lat bottle, must have been the airtime. Dark fruit with a pure laser focus, nice acidity and structure, tannins were softer and sweeter than the last bottle. Thought it was a great effort that would be enjoyed by a large audience. Generous oak, but not too over the top

February 11, 2012 - PnP, and had with cheese and crackers at a dinner party. When first opened wine had some barnyard funk, that eventually blew off. Wine had very good pure dark fruit, but also had real balance. The fruit combined with some earthiness, and + acidity, and some gritty tannins provided an interesting and versatile wine that would be enjoyed by fans over old world and new world Cabernet. Would go well with food, and can be enjoyed alone. A winner, and definitely a wine to buy at the $21.50 price point.

February 1, 2012 - Did not love this at first taste. Picked it up several hours later and it was much improved. Deep purple with nose of balck fruit, leather and tobaco. a touch of mint on the finish.

November 27, 2011 - This was a really interesting Napa cab. It has a new-world cab flavor profile, but the mouth-feel, dryness, and finish are all old-world. Dark fruit and cedar on the nose, and the palate has the same with a bit of chocolate and tobacco on the back-end. Finish is quite dry and demands food. Recommended at $25, but definitely drink this with a meal.
