February 2, 2019 - La Tablee: Celebratory Dinner (BYO) (26 Bridge Street, Brooklyn): From the Domaine and man was this great. I would say one of my favorites of the evening in what was a very tough line-up. Still very young. Super classy. Nice precision to it. Tasty.

January 20, 2019 - not rated as I tasted a hint of TCA, in any case the aroma is off for this bottle, which is the 2nd time, the last bottled about 2 years ago was exactly the same, not sure what is the problem but not appealing at all to me.

January 20, 2019 - Drank this bottle with Laurence from Pegau. Very earthy and medicinal with herbs, earth and plum. The wine was going on its downtrend.

December 22, 2018 - Garnet with a orange hue at the rim. First it is delivering not that much one could expect and it is even pretty short . Raisins, cherries. But even this not in an intensity that is adequate to an outstanding or extraordinary wine. It takes more than two hours after decant to open. Tobacco, incense, spices, garrigue, cherries, cassis and meat. And the structure that is build by refreshing acidity and tannic backbone is now balanced by fruit and amounts of scents and flavors. And even the high alcohol levels first lurking are now easily balanced. All in all very young if perfectly cellared. 2025-2040+
5/14/18/10. 97 (+ in ten years or so)

June 25, 2018 - Drank in a big C9 tasting. This was a clear stand out. A cut above the rest and still very young. Dark color - almost brooding but this has settled a bit in 20 years. Nuance just beginning to show - lovely dark fruits, garrigue, anise, spice, pepper and charcoal notes. Drank along side an 03 Rayas which were opposite end of the C9 spectrum. Both amazing although the da Capo will live easily another 20+ years. A wine for the ages.
