October 6, 2019 - Clearly past its best but eminently drinkable still. Dark red brick in colour. All cigar box and aged characters. Lovely tannins and persistent length. I think 2009 would have been too soon? Perhaps at its best a few years ago.

May 3, 2019 - Wonderful expressive aged Barossa Cabernet. The oak is evident on the nose and had melded with cassis fruit to deliver a balanced package that satisfies.
    Excellent drinking

April 23, 2016 - Delicious cabernet aging well, with refined power. Cassis fruit richness, good in the middle palate and excellent finish

January 25, 2015 - decanted and enjoyed. Tannins are soft and fruit is present. Very light cab now. Probably better a year or two ago as the wine has lost some steam but overall enjoyable

October 17, 2013 - I loved this wine! Interesting iodine and peat notes that buttressed over a river a plum and currant fruit. Long mocha finish. Purchased from a wine shop in The Rocks in Sydney in 2004. Great bottle.

October 17, 2012 - Found a couple of bottles purchased many a year ago which had been hidden away in the cellar . Still in very good condition with plenty of fruit although a bit sweet for my taste - very pleasant drinking and a surprise .

February 24, 2011 - Drank this over 2 nights. As per my previous note this wine is medium bodied and showed some brett on the palate which actually added to its interest. I'd say its drinking at its peak now and wouldn't recommend leaving it much longer as it wont get any better. My wife really loved it!
