November 24, 2020 - Fresh, acidic, balanced and well integrated at this point. Lovely, easy drinking.

July 25, 2018 - Served chilled and decanted for a few hours. It's like pure grape juice. Pure enjoyment to last drop.

June 21, 2015 - Patio Party Summer Solstice June 2015: Lovely gamay that also benefited from some bottle age ... lively acidity, concentrated cranberry and sour cherry flavors, earthy mushroom aromatics and a complex and long finish. A good starter before turning to some heavier hitters.

March 10, 2013 - The funk did blow off of my 2nd and last bottle, on day 2. Silky red and black fruits with a nice acidity and some leather, but at the end of the day this was more simple than i expected from the appellation

February 1, 2013 - this was funky and flawed..and probably did not allow enough time for the funk to blow off..nice fruit underneath but could not good pass the nose..others at the table did not mind but i thought this flaw could not be overlooked. One bottle left

December 7, 2012 - Nose of red fruits, cherries, raspberry. Also blackberry and earthy tones, tobacco. Medium to low alcohol, low tannins, medium acidity. Medium length. Far exceeds the standard light lemonade style, more often found in Beaujoulais, but a much more developed wine. Impressive wine.

September 2, 2012 - Definitely had some natural wine flatulence to shed at first, but once that blew off it opened up the lovely underlying materials came through.
