December 24, 2020 - Drank on Xmas eve. Wonderful wine. Lots of fruit but not overwhelming, lots of finesse and elegance. Great balance and harmony. At its peak but can hold a few more years.
August 14, 2020 - Delicious. Quite vintage port like but with a character of its' own. Not overly sweet and in well balance although there is a bitterness that plays a dominate part of the palate, I'd assume from the barriques. It kinda works in the palate but I can't help feeling it'd be better without it. Chocolate or duck breast with berries. Much bette than first bottle opened maybe 5 year ago which may have been flawed.

August 12, 2018 - Same as my previous note but maybe even a tick better!
July 13, 2018 - Had a cork issue. Broke and shredded. Strained through a strainer to remove. Wine was very thin, little fruit much alcohol. Either pay drinking window or bad Cork.
April 8, 2018 - Ripe red fruit, tobacco, leather and earthy tones. Still plenty of acidity to keep balance. Smooth and completely integrated. This wine is showing no signs of being over the hill...in it's prime with 5 years left. Fantastic wine!

Fabulous mature nose.
Blackcurrant attack, gentle tannins, full, wonderful length.
October 26, 2013 - Dark transparent red purple
Intense powerful ripe fruity aromas, much more impressing than the 2004
Powerful full bodied, firm tannins, good acidity, very good harmony, highly matured fruits, long rich ending.
