February 10, 2016 - Still drinking well. Nice pinot nose and bright fruit flavours.

Scoring Factors Description
Deliciousness Factor
The is the base score for the wine, puts the score in a range
Score of 1, 2 or 3
1 - Doesn't leave me wanting more (base score: D)
2 - Decent (base score: C)
3 - Why is the bottle empty already (base score: B+)
Refinements
These are sub-factors which skew the score one way or another. Each factor is again a 3 point scale:
-1 : Didn't like
0 : No strong feeling or Don't remember
+1 : Liked
Each refinement can move the overall score by 1 position (ie, from a B+ to a A or a D to D-)
So if a wine has an overall deliciousness of a B+, but was too expensive for what I thought I got, then it would be a B

Value
yes, value. If I know the cost value always comes into play. If I don't know the cost this doesn't change the score.
January 26, 2015 - Just over four years old, this mature pinot displays a deep ruby color, and looks almost like a merlot in the glass, but the clarity gives it away. Packed with blueberry aromas, the nose also shows nice, creamy vanilla notes. Luscious blueberry fills the mouth, with other ripe fruit, vanilla and bit of spice, and some earthy notes as well. Now is a good time to drink this one; don't wait too long.
May 10, 2014 - Agree with comment that this wine is far too dense. Very fruit forward and lacking acidity. Typical sonoma coast pinot. Not my things.
March 29, 2014 - Candy-noir. Very fragrant, light, sweetish. This is an entry level bulk wine and it's taste reflects that. Not really suited to accompany food at all, its more of a summer porch wine that could be served in the place of white zin. Ouch!
Oh well, at least its relatively cheap and you can impress your friends who don't know anything about wine but may have heard of the winery due to Kendall- Jackson's ownership and some of their higher end stuff.
September 15, 2013 - Deliciousness Factor : B+
Refinements:
- Smell : + (Earth, minerals, light fruit, floral)
- Depth of Flavour : + (consistent with the smell, lots of depth to this wine)
- Mouth Feel : = (Fairly smooth and round, no tanin left, but there is a touch of bitterness. Not full, this is a lighter wine)
- Finish : + (Long long lasting taste. All of the flavours continue to the end)
- Value : =
Overall Personal Rating : A+
July 6, 2013 - Earthy, spicy nose. Cherry and baking spices follow through on the full bodied palate. This is a big Pinot, more in the style found in the Central Coast. Coming across as quite young, this wine has potential but needs to settle down. A good QPR version of the "big" style of Pinot. Wait a couple of years; score could improve.
May 4, 2013 - Pale pinkish red. Strawberry nose and palate. Soft in mouth with the strawberries, again. The wine is not flawed but I do not like the dense flavour profile of sweetish strawberries and not much else
April 21, 2013 - Pale red. Nose of cherries and cola. Sweet and smooth on the palate with strawberry coming through. Easy drinker that was enjoyed by all. At under $20, has a great QPR and relatively easy to find.
