February 14, 2024 - Drinking really well right now for our taste. Lots of fun tertiaries but still plenty of fruit and bubbles. I wasn’t sure there would be any bubbles when I opened it - no sound at all, and it wasn’t just opening skills! But when I poured it, there was the effervescence, and it has persisted in the glass. A lovely bottle for Valentine’s Day.

October 21, 2022 - Magnum. Holding up well at age 26. Good fruit and length. Acidity and fruit well integrated.

September 5, 2022 - Alas this has declined past its prime. Still drinkable, but lacks any distinct fruit flavors. A bit sour, with straw and some toast being distinctive.

June 19, 2022 - Method: pop and pour; fridge temp; Glasvin Champagne Glass; celebrating 1st Father's day with caviar with the baby (although, it's bitter sweet having just put Baloo down on 6/14)

Look: medium gold; tons of agressive bubbles

Nose: buttermilk biscuit, cream, almond, pear

Palate: pear, gren apple, light brown butter, light toffee; long finish of biscuit, bread crust, minerality, chalk, almond, light walnut; dry; light body; strong average sized bubbles; medium acidity

Overall thoughts: Complex, some nice flavors, and nicely balanced, but the bubbles are strong than I prefer and the mouthfeel isn't anything special for Champagne. Great wine!

November 13, 2021 - From magnum. Surprisingly delicious. Fine mousse. Very light gold color. Nose revealed toasted brioche, lemon custard. Palate added some roasted nuts and mineralogy with a fine acidic finish. Glad I have one more mag!
