July 19, 2016 - Wow! Still going strong 5 years after release. This wine is a cut above the rest (of the Dolcettos). The nose is so much more fleshed out than the average dolcetto, the attack has 1/2 a second of typical dolcetto flavor before opening up to a richer experience and the finish is now in total harmony. This has much more in common with an excellent cru beaujolias than a limp, bitter fruit dolcetto....and this isn't even the winery's top dolcetto.
