December 12, 2012 - The nose is full with notes of currant, oak and vanilla. Light body for a cab, but very rich. Dark fruit, tobacco and leather on the palate. Short finish.

August 10, 2009 - Well-made, but fairly simple wime. Typical mid-range California Cab, pleasant, undemanding and undistinguished. A decent value, but not memorable.

June 6, 2008 - Aromatically nice, with a big nose full of dark fruit, dried herbs, cayenne pepper and earth - this falls apart on the wishy-washy palate that offers zero structure and little flavor beyhond some faint black cherry ntoes.

May 18, 2008 - Good fruit forward value cabernet. Very juicy. It had a nice bit of oak which lingered on the finish.

March 26, 2008 - With time open the fairly simple and shut down nose opens to moderately influenced oak character, cherries blueberries cassis and a touch of graphite. Surpising acid level on entry that encompasses a peppery blueberry flavor that transitions to a terroir driven finish with light to moderate tannin that grips more and more as the finish goes on. This wine is well under control at 13.5 and I think it would be great with food.

With time a gorgeous high toned red licourice emerges.

March 8, 2008 - this cabernet has a very nice cassis-filled nose, with some toast. full-bodied, with sweet black cherries, plums, soft tannins, vanilla and milk chocolate on the palate. wow, this isn't spectacular, but for $12-$15, this is a qpr cab to seek out for sure. nice, soft finish. not really complex, but this is just a really plush, easy-drinking cab to have around at parties and such.
