January 17, 2019 - Solid value Rhône wine at $20. Nose is quite complex with rustic red fruits, olive tapenade, pine, herbs, and faint cinnamon.
Tannins are fully integrated for a smooth silky texture supporting black cherry, black raspberry, and boysenberry fruit with lots of earthy and herbal elements mid-palette, but not green at all. Finish is clean with faded red fruit, olive, earth, smoke, and herbs like thyme and tarragon.
Good stuff, great QPR, certainly hitting its stride now and likely near peak. Drink now - 2020 for best results. -

December 8, 2017 - Bright red colour. Toasty, vanilla nose with red fruits. Strawberry and raspberry flavours with a bit of oak and spice. Rounded and very nice.

September 16, 2017 - I love this wine with simple age. Everything you'd want from southern Rhone. Some tobacco, cedar and loads of sensible fruit. Bargain.

July 27, 2017 - Not moved much since recent bottle! Maybe tannins smoothed off a bit more. Nice wine.
