August 8, 2020 - Purchased in 2020 from a reputable Willamette based cellar. Popped cork. Initial impression: Light-moderately reductive nose of smoke/matchstick. Moderate flavors of lemon/lime, with a thin bead of acidity. Enjoyable. I wasn’t sure this would hold up, but I decanted anyway - absolutely the right call because this surged with life. Reductive nose slowly diminished with air and was followed by lemon/lime. Moderate+ flavors of lemon, lime, brown sugar, followed by a tangy acidity that perfectly rounds this out. Full body. Fresh. Moderate+ complexity/moderately long finish. Drink or hold for a couple more years.

July 30, 2020 - Sherried. Tasted like old Kalin Chardonnay.

    February 16, 2020 - Had at a family dinner.
N honey, lemon cream, white tea, funk
P lemon cream, honey, minerals, little wax, little butter
F long in length, felt full and rounded at this point, good mouthfeel
Overall really nice, and don't think its going to improve at this point.

August 23, 2019 - Fantastic showing! Waves of tropical fruit, key lime and guava, with a brilliant acidity and balance. Drank with a group of 6 guys and we were all stunned by the tension and clarity of this wine 97 points

November 13, 2017 - Champagne & Cameron (Etto - DC): Wow, I thought I had had this wine before, but it turns out that was six years ago! I loved it then, and I love it far more now. This wine has done incredible things. Complex aromatic display of almonds, honey, lemon crème, apricot, white tea, cheese rind – so complex and evolving. This has aged so, so well, the acidity is on point, plenty of textural depth, with almond, waxy, notes complemented by mineral, chalky elements. White peach, lemon curd, apricot fruit, with a crazy level of complexity and balance. Gorgeous stuff.
