  December 30, 2013 - recently bought a case of 6 and had to try one out, I was really looking forward to this wine cus of the good reviews.
  Decanted for 2 hours.
  
  Color: dark inky purple color.
  
  Nose: fresh herbs,green notes,tobacco and dark chocolate shavings,iron,black peppar,great fruit notes,smoke in the back and also some pencil lead. Really just a lovely and promising nose.
  
  Palate: Really juicy and with great acidity cranberries blackcurrant and blackberry,dark chocolate notes also licorice. Nice long finish really big on the fruit notes and clearly a young wine that has a promising future ahead of it 3-5 years. . . 92+pts

  October 13, 2011 - Beautiful St. Joseph. The fruit is already very expressive though quite young. Tasted at winery and then the next day. Mixture of blackberries and black cherries. Good acidity and bit herbaceous. Should drink very well over the next 10 years. Quite possibly the best St. Joseph outside of the big houses of Chapoutier & Guigal, with a small winemakers passion. Excellent.
