March 13, 2024 - Cornas and Cassoulet dinner. A very good bottle. Excellent with a delicious fish/scallop ceviche.

July 23, 2022 - French White Wine Afternoon on a Beautiful Summer Day (Seattle): Tasted alongside 2009 Raveneau Valmur. Yellow and even a young Chablis glint of green. A bit of sulfur plus oyster shell brininess. Medium body, not a huge Clos. Citrus and apple, excellent acidity, very good length. Maybe with air a little mushroom creeps in, but this was remarkable for its freshness and vigor at this point-the premox gods smiled on this bottle. Not as dense, weighty, or ripe as the Raveneau. Thank you, John.

November 8, 2019 - 13% ABV. Pale yellow with a clear rim. Incredibly powerful nose of sea spray, white flowers, lemon rind, minerals and a hint of beeswax. Powerful yet graceful on the palate, with powdered stone and Granny Smith apples beautifully integrated into the slightly glyceral texture that goes down like liquid silk, leaving the gums quivering more than a minute later. This is a mind-bogglingly great, classic Chablis that will give great pleasure another 20 years or longer. Flat-out incredible! 97.

February 14, 2018 - High purity, lemon peel, Canadian honey, stone, and a touch of vanilla. Medium to full bodied wine. Very complex and dynamics.

    The Dauvissat-Camus Label:
Vines that are owned by different family members. appear under the “Dauvissat-Camus” label.

October 15, 2017 - Rich honey, a nicely aged Chablis, marred by a dank note, possibly mild TCA or moldy grapes.
