March 20, 2021 - Holding up very well. Black cherry, plum and currant on the entry with some light oak and leather on the mid-palate and light dusty tannins on the finish. Great QPR!
February 26, 2016 - dark brick colour with lighter rim. nose: robust, cherry wood; sharp and intense. taste: wody with important acidity; some sweet cherries in the finish. Expected more.
January 10, 2016 - Brought this to our family's annual "Wine Around the World" party and it won WOTN. Granted, the bar was not that high but it still won out over 9 other wines. Classic Rioja Tempranillo flavor profile.
Smooth, easy drinking with light oak and no tannins to speak of. Fruit forward but not a fruit bomb. Simple but enjoyable. Seems to be in its peak drinking window right now.

October 21, 2013 - Drinks well and is versatile with foods. Color is strawberry and fairly translucent. Nose and taste of cherry, plum and some subdued earthiness. Oak Vanilla. Acidity is moderate but per some other reviews, almost zero on the tannin factor. Not very sophisticated but at its price point, I think this wine outperforms most of its competitors. Popped this open to go with some apple wood smoked shredded pork shoulder and it paired up well.
October 5, 2013 - En flaske drukket til tapas sammen med 2005 gran reserva. Litt mer fruktig. Merkbare tanniner, men ikke like tydelig som i 2005 gran reserva. Runnere enn 2005 gran reserva.

May 4, 2013 - Nice at the price. I never expect much from an $8 wine, in that regard this over-performs. Very easy to drink, approachable to almost any body. Good by itself or with food.
