October 17, 2020 - The 2019 drinking window is definitely incorrect...this puppy was SINGING

July 7, 2018 - Continuing the nightly tastings ... 2008, 2009 and 2012 now tried, 2010 and 2011 left to try soon. This 2009 is seemingly in the middle - not as enjoyable as the 2012, but slightly better than the 2008. Others have mentioned the alcohol not integrating and that might be it. I think it has more time - it will certainly drink longer than the 2019 window suggested here

February 12, 2017 - Consistant with my note from February 2016. Better as young, but not hopeless. But the alcohol casts a shadow over this wine.

February 27, 2016 - Kind of good, but too much alcohol seems to be an issue with Conterno in 2009. Better young when this was less present.

Appears mature but fear the alcohol element will not integrate.

December 13, 2015 - Best on day two, yet there is an (increasing) element of alcohol not fitting in perfectly with age. Although, drinking well at the moment, well balanced with great fruit and acidity to back it, yet gain some more mature tones with time.
