January 11, 2024 - Very floral on the nose, and I am usually not very good at identifying floral notes in red wine. Dark fruit tones, spice, licorice and mint. This is pretty good and much better than the 07 Veglio we had last night. Brought back from a tasting we did at Vajra in 2018. Ann loved it.

May 4, 2018 - The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, black currant (cassis) and prune. It tastes like blackberry, black currant (cassis) and ethanol. The body is full. The wine has narrow texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.

January 16, 2017 - Bright Ruby. Classic tar and roses on the nose along with charcoal, coal fire and smoky notes. Black cherry flavours along with aniseed, liquiorice and pronounced tannins with some heat on the finish. Very intense and powerful with a lingering finish. Excellent now but could do with more time to soften out those tannins.

Almost creamy texture, red and blueberry berries, so long and amazing
