  February 3, 2024 - A lovely floral bouquet. Generous acidity. Smooth, rounded tannins. Dark black fruit - blackberry and cassis followed by a long finish. Lovely wine.

  Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately.
  
  Purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of aspirin, pepper, plum and black cherry. Flavors of black raspberries, black cherries and plums. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold.

  April 17, 2017 - Red berry flavors. Medium bodied with a sweet strawberry liqueur finish. The tannins are fully integrated. An average wine which is at, or just passing peak maturity. It wouldn't be on my list of $100+ California Cabs to keep purchasing.

  June 8, 2016 - Hasn't improved over time as I would have expected from Carte Blanche. Good, but, needs more depth, refinement, and finish. Given the initial high tariff, plus cellar costs, not enamored with the ROI.
