January 30, 2015 - A classic Rhone but a bit sweet.
September 11, 2013 - This wine certainly showed better once it had a chance to open up. Blueberries, some sweetness... I did not get the spice from the syrah that I was expecting. All in all, a very nice wine, but I don't need any more of it.

June 27, 2013 - Popped and poured. A nice healthy nose. Huge, balanced, fruit on the palate. The mid-palate particularly sings. And it lingers nicely on the finish. Dark fruit, perhaps boysenberry, but not plum. Integrated tannins. Wifey says its slightly hot, and voila, it is 15.8%. I missed it at first as I was so enthralled, but she is very right, thins the finish too. Great value and yummy.
February 9, 2013 - Similar notes to previous reviews- a tasty CA Rhone, but nothing special and QPR isn't that great.
July 3, 2012 - From a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre, this spicy, black cherry jam filled wine is medium bodied and ends with sweet red cherries in the finish.
April 1, 2012 - Tasting room pour. Pretty black cherry and floral notes flashed throughout but were kept from shining by a cherry pit type flavor and a moderately high dose of charred oak. Good acidity and balance and some decent structure though this lacks grace... a bit rough and rustic. Showed too much oak for a Rhone blend. 84-86
March 25, 2012 - 2012 Rhone Rangers Grand Tasting (San Francisco, Fort Mason Festival Pavillion): Pretty dark red fruit, violet, and baking spice aromas. Medium-bodied with black cherry, raspberry flavors. Blend of 42% Syrah, 29% Mourvedre, 29% Grenache
