June 9, 2023 - Part of a dinner with phenomenal wines.
This was decisively Cali chardonnay. Despite being 13.5%, it had a clear richness and mouth-filling quality that for me is unmistakably CA. I personally thought the acidity was a touch low for the power and voluptuousness of this wine, but that may be my bias at play.
Clearly an outstanding wine and a phenomenal effort, albeit maybe not to my preference. 92-93ish -

October 23, 2022 - Darker color, heavy on the oak, almost burnt like. Still pleasant after a while in the glass. Drink.

July 16, 2022 - Best California Chardonnay I have ever had. Very rich but with ample acidity and minerality, even more impressive now due to its age.
